JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities
- Observe, maintain and improve the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with automotive industry standards (IATF1649)
- Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements and industry certifications, including IATF 16949 and other applicable standards.
- Manage annual audit plan for internal, customer, and third-party certification audits.
- Lead all quality assurance and quality control activities for automotive seat covers and interior component manufacturing operations.
- Ensure that safety-critical customer requirements are understood and consistently met across all plants. Promote the implementation of new safety-critical initiatives and systematically monitor their effectiveness.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and other quality tools.
- Lead customer quality interface activities, including audits, corrective actions, quality reviews, customer visits and issue resolution.
- Establish quality objectives, KPIs, and performance metrics to improve operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action implementation to eliminate recurring quality issues.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Program Management teams to ensure product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
- Oversee supplier quality management programs, including supplier audits, qualification, development, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Develop and mentor quality teams to foster a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present quality performance reports to executive leadership and customers.
- Support new product launches by ensuring compliance with Advanced quality planning (APQP) and validation requirements.
- Product safety and compliance representative and leader. Create and promote environments with high sense of responsibility for product safety.
- Represent group of plants in front of the company product safety office.

- Proficiency in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA
