Field Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a professional for a hybrid role on CAPA review and approval for manufacturing suppliers across all regions globally but with great focus on Latin America (LA) and U.S.
This is an office role to support assessing CAPA against UL RS audit requirements and client specified program, meet KPI and productivity goals for the role and work with manufacturing suppliers on CAPA review and approval. Business travel is not required.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working directly with manufacturing suppliers on CAPA plan review and evaluation, provide review feedback on CAPA plans and supporting evidence
• Reviewing and evaluating supplier CAPA including root cause analysis, corrective actions and preventive actions against UL RS audit requirements and client-specific program standards
• Conduct desktop-based CAPA evidence review (Online and Offline CAPA evidence review, re-grades, and documentation review) and deliver high and consistent quality of result within required timeframe
• Tracking CAPA plans to closure with ensuring compliance with established quality requirements and client program expectations, drive timely closure of CAPAs
• Manage multiple reviews while meeting productivity, quality, and turnaround time targets
• Keep a timely and professional communication with internal teams, UL client, manufacturing suppliers on CAPA progress
• Follows appropriate company policy, business ethics, conflict of interest and safety policies and procedures, UL way of working
• Performs other duties as directed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Environmental Health & Safety, Social Compliance, Supply Chain, or a related discipline
• Two years' work experience in CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) related field including environment, health and safety; corrective action management (CAPA) and social compliance auditing is preferred
• Knowledge of labor laws, international labor standards and human rights issues preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish as 2nd language
• Strong skills in internet research and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and client platforms
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment with a global team
• Proficient in analyzing and problem-solving skills, good communication and coordination ability, good project management and time management
• Proficient skill in inter-human communication with factory management, demonstrating patience, professionalism
