The ideal candidate will support inventory management and accountability of all hardware activities associated with the Marine Corps’ medical legacy and modernization efforts- while enabling program growth.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to support a large-scale training effort and broader modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will support inventory management and accountability of all hardware activities associated with the Marine Corps’ medical legacy and modernization efforts- while enabling program growth.
Responsibilities:
In this role, the candidate shall support the Naval Information Warfare Center and Program Executive Office Manpower, Logistics and Business Solutions (PEO-MLB) leadership. This will include, but is not limited to:
- Provide focused, Subject Matter Expert in support of logistics functions for hardware support to operational and non-operational staffs aboard their platforms.
- Provides functional logistics accountability processes to Marine Corps health services points of contact.
- Work closely with technical team to provide hardware requirements to produce installation requirements in support of deployment efforts.
- Maintains consistent monthly and annual inventory accountability at 100%.
- Trains and supervises logistics staff to meet and exceed inventory and CDRL capturing objectives.
- Experience in the utilization of the Configuration Management Professional Database (CMPro) and GCSS-MC for inventory management and accountability of all hardware purchases.
- Monitor and evaluate logistics program to measure overall progress and effectiveness and recommend alternative logistics strategies for consideration.
- Manages storage facilities pertaining to working stock, bulk order, and long-term storage requirements.
- Manages a purchase budget of $1.5M and above to support future hardware and storage equipment purchases.
- Assist with the proper disposal of hardware in accordance with Marine Corps regulations and policies.
- Provide administrative support to internal/external stakeholders as needed.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Five years of hands-on experience with task specific projects, to include three (3) of the (4) following areas: Logistics Management, USMC Supply Chain Management Process, Receiving and Shipping experience, and Operational Requirements.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent work-related experience.
- Experience in public speaking and/or presentation skills.
- Government Requisition and Invoice / Shipping Documentation development and utilization experience.
- Experience with the execution of the Receiving, Inventory, Imaging, Kitting, and Shipping (RIIKS) process.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent time management and administrative skills.
- U.S. Citizenship (a requirement for a federal security clearance).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Ability to relocate to the Charleston metropolitan area.
- Requires 5 years of hands-on CMPro, GCSS-MC, Win11 Software experience, strong Word, Outlook, OneNote, PowerPoint, and SharePoint skills.
- Strong communication skills (written/oral), attention to detail, and time management.
- The candidate should be eligible to obtain an International Passport and/or required VISAs.
- The candidate must be able to pass all medical and dental physical screening requirements.
- Strong organizational and logistics skills. These skills are vital to navigating international travel requirements i.e. scheduling hotels, transportation and communication with unit points of contact.
Desired:
- Former Navy Medicine active-duty/Reserves (with Fleet Marine Force) experience, preferred.
- Other Branches of Service with strong medical logistics, medical administrative, information technology experience is acceptable.
