Job Description:
As a Quality Assurance Specialist at our Healthcare facility in Roermond, you are responsible for monitoring and safeguarding the overall Quality Management System within the distribution center. You act in compliance to pharmaceutical, medical device, and local healthcare regulations and play a key role in maintaining and continuously improving quality processes through the implementation of procedures, training, and regular inspections.
In this role, you actively participate in internal, client, supplier, and agency audits, as well as in various projects. You maintain knowledge of healthcare quality regulation, and you assess risks related to the storage and transportation of healthcare products and proactively escalate findings and recommendations to senior management.
What you’ll do
Performing Process Adherence Checks (PACs) according to the site schedule, ensuring operations are executed in line with approved procedures, work instructions, and in compliance with regulations (i.e. EU GMP, EU GDP, etc);
Collects, assesses and presents Healthcare Quality Assurance metrics;
When delegated by RP/ QP, executing client-directed quality status changes in the inventory management system (IMS);
Supporting the timely and effective execution of product recalls and other market actions;
Assisting in audits, Quality Management System (QMS) reviews, and the initiation, documentation, and follow-up of change controls, events, and audit findings, tracking all actions through to closure;
Supporting the investigation and assessment of non-conformances and customer complaints, including initiating investigations where required;
Developing and coordinating corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans in collaboration with facility management and applicable subject matter experts (SME);
Provides support to ensure license verification is performed for customers, suppliers and other entities operating within UPS facilities;
Collecting and reviewing temperature data and monitoring environmental conditions.
Actively promoting a strong quality culture across the organization.
What you’ll get

A one year UPS contract; as this is a temporary position;

What you’ll need
Education: secondary vocational education (MBO level in the Netherlands);
Experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist; with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standard experience as an advantage;
Knowledge: of GMP and/ or GDP guidelines is an advantage;
Skills: strong communication skills (Dutch + English), stress resistant, able to work within time-limits (deadlines) and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office;
Relevant working experience in the Logistics and Healthcare industry.
