Quality Assurance Intern — Fall 2026
Fabri, a funded hard-tech startup, is looking for a hands-on, motivated student to join our team as a paid Quality Assurance Intern for Fall 2026.
You’ll work alongside a small, fast-moving technical team building Phase 1 of our digital, end-to-end foundry. This is a highly hands-on role focused on casting and quality assurance, with the opportunity to take meaningful ownership of processes and contribute directly to Fabri’s core technology.
What You’ll Do
Inspect parts using various tools and imaging equipment such as microscopes and light scanners.
Document defects, perform root cause analysis, and review data to ensure products are meeting internal and external requirements.
Build “encyclopedia of processing defects” using the measured information.
Review and improve work instructions and SOPs.
Process metallurgical samples to evaluate casting quality.
What We’re Looking For
Current student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in quality engineering, mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related engineering/science discipline.
Hands-on experience with laboratory, manufacturing, or measurement equipment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable working in a hands-on environment where you may be asked to build, test, and measure.
Strong computer skills and the ability to document and communicate technical results.
Self-motivated, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced startup environment.
Why Fabri?
At Fabri, you won’t be limited to observing from the sidelines. You’ll learn by doing, work directly with experienced technical leaders, and can make a tangible impact on a developing manufacturing system.
This is an ideal opportunity for a student interested in metallurgy, materials science, casting, manufacturing, or quality engineering who wants hands-on experience at the intersection of advanced manufacturing and technology.
