Laboratory Automation Solutions, our clinical diagnostic division, specializes in the manufacture of small, innovative benchtop automation for optimizing pre- and post-analytical workflows in pathology laboratories, and has installations worldwide.
We are searching for a Quality Associate to join our team as we accelerate our growth journey. This is your opportunity to be part of a team that is servicing the medical industry in providing laboratory automation products that make a difference in the world.
What you’ll do:

Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures, assembly instructions and quality process and procedures,
-
Analyze production processes and identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality and cost-effectiveness,
-
Work closely with the quality team to provide administrative and technical support,
-
Design and implement process enhancements to optimize production while maintaining product quality and safety standards,
-
Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations, out of box failures and quality issues,
-
Collaborate with Sales, R&D, Quality and Manufacturing teams to scale up new products and processes into production,
-
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by actively seeking out opportunities to enhance processes.
What you’ll bring:
-
Degree or trade qualification in engineering or relatable discipline (mechatronics/mechanical preferably),
-
Proven experience in a relatable manufacturing field with a focus on continuous improvement and optimization would be an advantage,
-
Prior experience with ISO13485 quality standards and regulatory requirements,
-
Proficiency in MS Office applications,
-
Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings and specifications,
-
Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills (written and oral) using business and user-friendly language with a commercial mindset,
-
Self-motivated, results-driven and well organized and able to handle multiple tasks with a clear sense of ownership and priority.
