We are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented, and safety-driven QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment) Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and environmental protocols across project sites and operations. This is a field-focused role that requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement, monitor, and improve QHSE practices.

Site Safety & Compliance:
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with QHSE standards, statutory regulations, and internal policies.
Identify hazards, assess risks, and implement appropriate control measures.
Ensure all workers and site visitors follow PPE and safety protocols.
Training & Awareness:
Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions, and QHSE training to workers and staff.
Foster a culture of continuous safety improvement by conducting regular awareness programs and feedback sessions.
Incident Management & Reporting:
Lead incident/accident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action planning.
Maintain and update records of near-misses, incidents, and daily safety observations.
Documentation & Standards:
Maintain QHSE documentation including checklists, audit reports, compliance logs, permits, and certifications.
Support the implementation and upkeep of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
Assist in internal and external QHSE audits.
Cross-functional Coordination:
Work closely with project, operations, and procurement teams to ensure materials and activities meet quality and safety benchmarks.
Support the procurement of safety equipment and quality-related tools.
Sustainability & Environmental Compliance:
Monitor environmental impact across sites (e.g., waste disposal, emissions, and energy use).
Ensure compliance with local environmental laws and company sustainability goals.
Education:
Bachelor’s/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial Safety). QHSE certifications like NEBOSH, IOSH, or ISO lead auditor training preferred.
Experience:
2–5 years in a QHSE role within solar, construction, manufacturing, or engineering sectors. Experience in rooftop/ground-mount solar projects is an added advantage.
Skills:
Strong understanding of safety protocols, quality control processes, and environmental regulations.
Excellent observational and auditing skills.
Proficient in report writing and incident analysis.
Comfortable with tools like MS Office, safety audit software, and checklists.
Good communication in regional/local language & English/Hindi.
Other Requirements:
Two-wheeler and valid driving license.
Willingness to travel frequently to field sites.
Open to working on weekends or extended hours during critical site activities.
