Requirements
What you’ll do:
- Take full ownership of the QA strategy across our product suite, including the desktop application, CLI, and API workflows.
- Develop and manage automated testing pipelines, encompassing end-to-end, regression, and unit tests.
- Establish testing procedures, quality standards, and release criteria.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering and Product teams to identify and resolve bugs promptly and frequently.
- Advocate for product reliability by addressing edge cases, cross-platform challenges, and practical developer scenarios.
- Foster a strong QA culture throughout the team by enhancing documentation, tooling, and test coverage.
About you:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in QA or software testing, including leadership roles in QA initiatives.
- Proven experience testing developer-focused products, APIs, or CLI tools—preferably those used by hundreds of thousands of users.
- Strong expertise in automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.
- Comfortable creating and reviewing test cases, maintaining continuous integration pipelines, and working asynchronously.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering clean, dependable user experiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Experience contributing to or working within open-source environments.
- Familiarity with Electron applications, Node.js, and Git-based workflows.
- Hands-on experience testing or developing tools such as API clients or other developer-centric applications.
