Role Summary:

Responsible for maintaining software quality through rigorous testing—both manual and automated—covering functional, regression, and integration aspects

Objective:

Ensure application quality through systematic testing. Detect and prevent defects across the frontend, backend, and integrations before release.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and regression tests
  • Perform manual UI testing and functional testing
  • Create and maintain automated test scripts for key workflows
  • Test integration points between Streamlit, backend APIs, and external systems
  • Manage and report bugs using JIRA
  • Participate in sprint reviews and provide feedback on release readiness

Key Skills:

  • Testing Tools: Pytest, Selenium, Playwright, or similar
  • CI/CD Integration: Automated testing in pipelines
  • Methodologies: Regression, Integration, UAT, Smoke Testing
  • Documentation: Test cases, test results, and defect tracking
  • Cloud Experience: Familiarity with testing cloud-based applications (GCP preferred)

Education: Relevant IT or software testing qualification (degree or ISTQB certification preferred).


Experience: 2–4 years in software QA (manual and/or automated).


Technical Skills:

  • Familiarity with Python-based testing frameworks (Pytest, Behave).
  • UI testing tools (Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress).
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of API testing and validation.
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud or other cloud-hosted systems.

Soft Skills:

  • Detail-oriented, patient, and systematic approach.
  • Strong written communication for documenting bugs and tests.
