As a QA Automation Specialist, you'll operate in lock-step with product management to create a clear strategic direction for build needs. You'll direct the team with a clear set of requirements captured as stories and collaborate to determine deliverables based on need.

As a QA Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and testcases

• Maintaining automated testing procedures.

• Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating testing activities

• Designing, developing and executing automation and deployment scripts using open-source tools (Selenium, Cypress)

• Identifying, recording, documenting thoroughly and tracking bugs

• Performing thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved

• Developing and applying testing processes for new and existing products to meet enterprise needs

• Liaising with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements

• Monitoring debugging process results

• Investigating the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions

• Tracking quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts

• Staying up to date with new testing tools and test strategies

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have Java – JSP, Servlets – 5 years of experience

• Have Apache Tomcat app server

• Have Apache httpd Webserver

• Have Relational databases “SQL Server"

• Have Data modeling

• Have Microsoft reporting suite (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS)

• Have Web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)

• Have Microsoft Azure Platform

• Have Github, SVN code repositories

• Have Tricentis Tosca

• Have Azure Devops or Jira or Rally

• Have proven work experience in software development

• Have proven work experience in software quality assurance

• Have strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes

• Have experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases

• Have hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing

• Have solid knowledge of SQL and scripting

• Have experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

• Have experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
