Honeycomb Insurance is seeking a skilled and motivated QA Automation Engineer to join our engineering team. In this pivotal role, you will be critical in ensuring the quality and reliability of our infrastructure and applications. You will work closely with our development teams to implement best practices and enhance our testing frameworks.
Design, develop, and maintain automated and manual test scripts and frameworks using Node.js.Work with cross-functional teams to create comprehensive test plans.Execute automated and manual tests, analyze results, and identify defects. Improve and streamline test automation processes and tools.Implement and promote best practices in test automation and quality assurance.Monitor and maintain stable test environments.Work with CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated tests.Keep up with industry trends and emerging technologies in test automation.
- 4+ years of experience in a similar position.
- 4+ years of experience in writing automation tests in node.JS
- Experience and understanding of testing and test-automation methodologies
- Good knowledge of testing and automation tools such as selenium, codecept or playwright
- Team player with great communication skills, with a “can do” approach and attention to details
- Strong technical and analytical skills, fast learner, independent and able to deep dive into complex problems & find their root cause
