About the Role

The QA Analyst, BI role will focus on testing our Business Intelligence applications and their associated backend APIs. You will be part of a skilled team of developers and QA professionals dedicated to ensuring the quality and reliability of our BI solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include web application testing, backend service validation, and identifying and reporting bugs. You will manage test plans based on Jira ticket requirements and investigate product quality to recommend improvements that enhance customer satisfaction. Collaboration with the Product Development team will be essential to identify and resolve quality assurance process bottlenecks.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct testing of web-based Business Intelligence applications following standardized QA processes
  • Validate backend services and APIs supporting BI applications
  • Create, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases based on Jira ticket requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Document testing activities, defects, and results using Jira and Confluence
  • Utilize test management platforms such as TestRail to track and report testing progress
  • Reproduce issues, clearly document findings, and partner with developers to drive defects to resolution
  • Configure test environments and coordinate testing across supported browsers and platforms to ensure compatibility and reliability

Requirements

  • Experience performing web application QA, including test execution, defect reporting, and regression testing
  • Experience using ticketing and defect tracking systems such as Jira
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, best practices, and the software testing lifecycle
  • Ability to write clear bug reports and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Due to the role’s involvement in GovCloud, all applicants must be a U.S. Person, defined as a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder)

Preferred Requirements:

  • Assist in creating and maintaining QA documentation, test plans, and test cases
  • Proven experience with SQL (for data validation, querying databases, and stored procedures)
  • Familiarity with API tools such as Postman and JMeter
  • Understanding and familiarity with Salesforce
  • Understanding of QA methodologies and testing lifecycle
  • Exposure to ticketing systems such as Jira

Keeper ensures that all our third parties are contractually bound to protect your personal data with adequate safeguards in place.

5. International Transfers

Your data may be accessed by Keeper entities globally as needed for the purposes of hiring and decision making. We protect any such data transfer between Keeper entities using appropriate safeguards under applicable data protection laws.

6. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, consistent with our industry leading security standards.

7. Retention

We keep your data for 24 months from your last application activity, then delete or anonymize it.

Exceptions:

  • You opt into our talent database for further retention by providing consent (extended retention)
  • You're hired (transfers to employee records)

8. Your Rights

You have the following rights and can contact us at the email below to exercise them:

  • Access, correct, or delete your data, subject to applicable law and retention requirements
  • Object to or restrict processing
  • Withdraw consent (where applicable)
  • Request data portability
  • Lodge a complaint with your data protection authority

If you become an employee, your rights regarding your employee record are governed by our internal Employee Privacy Notice and certain data will be retained as required under relevant laws such as employment or tax law.
