We are now looking for a Student Python Developer who is ready to take their skills to the next level! Here at Data and AI Platform Services we collect, ingest and archive vast amounts of data from Ericsson's customers all over the world.
Our unit is responsible for providing an Analytics platform with Data & AI Frameworks and shared analytics functions to be used broadly within Ericsson. Support the R&D digital transformation with diverse services connected to Data & AI.
In this position you will belong to an agile, cross-functional team that works with RAN Insights which utilizes real network data to calculate and visualize the current, and future network performance to drive sales in Ericsson's products.
What you will do
- Write, test and maintain high-quality code in Python.
- Design, implement the user interface in Solara.
- Cooperate with data scientists and data engineers to understand their current needs.
- Keep up to date with best practices in the data science and data engineering community.
- Enable organizations to make informed, data-driven decisions and execute on their digital transformation.
You will bring
- Ongoing full-time BSc or MSc studies in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field in Hungary are required.
- Availability to work onsite at Ericsson's Budapest office (Magyar tudósok körútja 11.) for at least 1.5 years (24- 32 hours per week).
- Strong Experience in Python programming language including data transform or other computation-related libraries (numpy/pandas/polars/etc.).
- Familiarity with data warehousing, data pipelines/flows, microservices/cloud, Git, Linux, CI and unit testing.
- Understanding of DataOps and Data Quality.
- Interest in the actual domain of telecom and the physics behind it.
- Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
