For an exciting backend platform initiative, we are currently looking for experienced Python Engineers. This is a full-time position offered under a standard employment contract. The role requires a hybrid working model from one of the company’s locations in Wrocław, Warsaw, or Cracow.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Python;
- Build and evolve distributed systems supporting real-time data processing;
- Work with streaming data pipelines and event-driven architectures;
- Develop and operate services within AWS cloud environments;
- Collaborate closely with platform, data, and engineering teams to ensure system reliability and scalability;
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable production code;
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of commercial experience as a Python backend engineer (mandatory);
- Strong experience building production-grade backend or platform systems;
- Solid understanding of distributed systems concepts (reliability, scalability, fault tolerance);
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS;
- Knowledge of APIs, microservices, and backend service design;
- Strong engineering fundamentals: debugging, testing, performance optimization.
Nice to have:
- Experience with streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub);
- Exposure to data platforms or ML-enabled systems;
- Experience with high-throughput or low-latency systems (real-time processing);
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, or DevOps tooling;
