As a strategic sales enablement team, we drive growth and optimize sales performance within Accenture's Public Safety Portfolio. We act as strategic advisors throughout the sales cycle, supporting pre-RFP activities, crafting compelling RFP submissions, and developing solutions that resonate with diverse decision-makers. Our impact extends beyond individual deals. We contribute to portfolio-wide initiatives and develop comprehensive sales training programs, empowering the entire workforce for consistent sales success.
The work
- Strategic Sales Support: Act as a trusted advisor, supporting pre-RFP activities, crafting compelling RFP submissions, and developing tailored solutions that address the unique needs of diverse decision-makers.
- Value Proposition Content Development: Articulate the value of Accenture's services through compelling sales materials such as Whitepapers, POVs, and client presentations.
- AI‑Enabled Sales & Growth Acceleration: Identify and implement AI tools, workflows, and automations that enhance individual sales productivity, improve proposal quality, and accelerate pipeline movement.
- Market Analysis and Insights: Provide actionable insights and growth recommendations based on in-depth market analysis, competitive intelligence, and client research.
- Acquisition Lifecycle Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the federal government acquisition lifecycle, including acquisition trends, and provide strategic recommendations to clients for RFP shaping.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships with account leadership and subject matter experts across cybersecurity, digital platforms, cloud, applied intelligence and more.
What you need:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
- 3-5 years of experience supporting federal government proposals, capture, business development, growth operations, technical writing, or related activities.
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills, with the ability to develop clear, concise, and customer-focused content.
- Working knowledge of federal procurement processes, solicitation structures, evaluation criteria, and proposal compliance, with the ability to continue developing this expertise on the job.
- Ability to understand moderately complex technical and business concepts and work effectively with subject matter experts to turn inputs into understandable proposal content.
- Strong organization, project coordination, time-management, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, manage competing priorities, and adapt to changing requirements.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at multiple levels of the organization including senior leadership.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint and collaboration tools commonly used for proposal development.
- Basic understanding of AI Tool prompting.

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
