The Role:
The Provisioning Specialist will support all GM Defense programs as it relates to the key aspects of provisioning as outlined by Defense Acquisition University (DAU). The successful candidate will coordinate with Integrated Product Support Leads and Program Managers (PM) to address logistics requirements and related supply chain costs within the total life-cycle systems management. They will ensure that technical and logistics data relevant to end item supply support are documented and accessible to Department of Defense and commercial materiel managers responsible for provisioning, follow-on support, and evaluation of supply chain performance. The Provisioning Specialist will also lead the following activities and deliverables:
What You'll Do:
- Indentured Bill of Material development
- Provisioning Support Plan development
- Develop Provisioning Parts List
- Conduct Provisioning Guidance Conference with customer
- Conduct Provisioning Conference with customer
- Conduct Provisioning Parts Pre-Screening
- Develop Repair Parts Special Tools List (RPSTL)
Additional Description
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of fulltime, relevant work experience
- Familiarity with GEIA-STD0007B
- Familiar with the following software: COMPASS (Computerized Optimization Model for Predicting and Analyzing Support Structure), PowerLOGJ, Publog , Systems Planning and Requirements Software ( SYSPARS )
- Strong analytical and organizational skills are needed to handle multiple task/projects and to work independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Valid Passport or ability to obtain a passport
PLEASE NOTE:
Role subject to U.S. export control restrictions. Successful candidates must either be a U.S. Person (defined by U.S. law as a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) or a non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required export control authorization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree
- 5 years experience supporting provisioning for Department of
- Experience leading and training others on key provisioning skills
- Defense wheeled vehicle program experience
