Proposal Manager to help expand RingCentral Sales efforts by coordinating and organizing responses to customer Requests for Proposals (RFP), Request for Qualifications (RFQ), Request for Information (RFI), and Security Questionnaires. This role has high visibility across multiple departments and requires someone with a strong ‘can do’ attitude. This individual will also need to manage timely deliverables with excellent communication and cross functional partnering skills. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Organize and coordinate all activities involved in documentation and preparation of RFP, RFQ for clients, including proposals, qualification packages, government standard forms, and security questionnaires/ audits. 

  • Perform detailed assessments of customer requirements highlighted in submitted questionnaires. 

  • Research, collate and draft content for bids, proposals, and firm qualifications by interviewing SMEs across functions.  

  • Schedule and lead proposal meetings to facilitate cross functional discussions identifying issues while designing ideal solutions meeting customer requirements. 

  • Assist sales teams (Account Executives and Sales Engineers) in creating custom proposals for large sales engagements. 

  • Edit & proofread proposal documents and customer responses for accuracy and consistency.  

  • Develop, store, and maintain sales collateral in RingCentral’s content library as reference material assisting lead/sales process. 

Desired Skills: 

  • Prior experience managing end-to-end activities related to customer proposals and requisitions. 

  • Requires excellent organizational, research & analytical and communication skills along with strong business acumen and attention to detail 

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams while managing prioritization and maintaining project timelines. 

  • Strong self-motivated individual capable of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

  • Must be willing to work in US hours. 

  • Experience using CRM tools equivalent to Salesforce, and content/project management tools equivalent to Responsive.io etc.  

Qualifications: 

  • A bachelor’s degree holder with 1-3 years of proposal management, sales, marketing, OR customer support experience.
