Responsibilities

◆ Bid Solicitation/Request for Proposal/Tender Analysis

Conduct feasibility studies from technological, financial, and organizational perspectives on aspects of bid solicitation, including request for proposal (RFP) and request for tender (RFT) project requirements, and write specifications for tenders.

◆ Request for Bid Solicitation/Proposal/Tender Response

Gather information and resources, draft and complete proposals, and fulfill all process requirements (in terms of deadlines, documentation, etc.) in response to bid solicitations, request for proposal, and request for tender to create the best chance of being awarded the contract.

◆ Needs Assessment

Explore issues or needs, establishing potential causes and barriers, as well as related issues.

◆ Multiagency Work

Partner and build collaborative working relationships with other professional teams and over organizational boundaries to ensure service users experience cohesive and seamless support to meet their needs.

◆ Leadership and Direction

Communicate the actions needed to implement the function's strategy and business plan within the team; explain the relationship to the broader organization's mission, vision, and values; motivate people to commit to these and to do extraordinary things to achieve local business goals.

◆ Document Preparation

Edit document in line with organizational style guidelines and prepare information for publication.

◆ Customer Needs Clarification

Set clear objectives for each sales call; develop and make presentations that are tailored to the known interests, needs, issues, and concerns of decision-makers and influencers within the customer organization; gather and analyze relevant information; and gain agreement to a statement of customer requirements.

◆ Data Collection and Analysis

Conduct research using primary data sources, and select information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends.

◆ Budgeting

Deliver a budget for an area of the organization or conduct complex analyses on budget progress in other areas of the organization.

Develop and propose own performance objectives; take appropriate actions to ensure achievement of agreed objectives, using the organization's performance management systems to improve personal performance. Skills Required
