This role
The Promoter Manager is a key leadership role responsible for managing field marketing agencies and a team of field managers to develop and execute a national demand generation strategy that aligns with PayJoy’s sales goals. This position combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution, ensuring that promoter initiatives effectively drive customer engagement and sales growth. The Promoter Manager will set and review performance targets, assess promoter effectiveness, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create integrated plans for launches of new partners and stores that require promoters. This role requires a dynamic leader who embodies PayJoy’s values and is dedicated to fostering a high-performing sales team.
Responsibilities
- Agency Management: Oversee relationships with field marketing agencies, ensuring they adhere to PayJoy’s brand values and operational standards. Provide guidance and support to agency partners to enhance their effectiveness in executing campaigns.
- Performance Target Setting: Establish clear, measurable performance targets for field marketing teams. Conduct weekly reviews of these targets to assess progress, identify challenges, and adjust strategies as necessary to ensure alignment with sales goals.
- Effectiveness Assessment: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of promoters and field marketing activities in meeting sales targets. Analyze sales data and marketing metrics to identify trends, successes, and areas for improvement.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with marketing leaders, finance, and sales teams to create integrated marketing plans and budgets. Ensure that all marketing initiatives are aligned with overall business objectives and supported by adequate resources.
- Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports on the performance of field marketing initiatives, including ROI analysis, campaign effectiveness, and recommendations for future improvements. Present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
- Fraud Prevention: Work with the fraud team to train and curb fraud in stores to ensure healthy and steady growth levels.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in field marketing, sales management, or related roles, with a focus on managing teams and agencies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.
- Experience in budget management and financial analysis, with a strong understanding of marketing metrics.
- Previous field training experience.
- Previous experience in a supervising/manager role. Demonstrated ability to work under high changing and pressure situations. Previous experience working with an early stage startup.
