About the job
The Red Hat Digital Experience Platforms team is looking for a collaborative and energetic Senior Technical Project Manager who can work across teams to lead large efforts to success to join us. In this role, you will focus on various facets of content publication and findability on Managed Cloud Services cloud.redhat.com. You'll assume a leadership role on long-running and impactful initiatives, working with stakeholders, development teams, and subject matter experts. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.
What you will do

  • Work with the product manager and maintain product roadmaps or objectives and key results (OKRs) that track evolving high-level goals, ensuring the teams involved are engaged in their mission
  • Create solid, sustainable, and scalable processes and demonstrate prolific project management skills to guide delivery cross-functionally across all stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams like Design and UX, Web Development, Marketing, and IT to manage platform, publishing, workflow, and UX enhancements while managing the day-to-day backlog of the site
  • Operate in an inclusive meritocracy to solve problems effectively and efficiently


What you will bring

  • Extensive program, product, or project management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid project management skills; detail-oriented and thorough in your approach to projects
  • Experience building and delivering complex communication plans across several organizations
  • Experience working with and serving teams of engineering, business, and design stakeholders
  • Familiarity with agile practices and ability to balance engineering and UX agility with longer-term stakeholder planning needs
  • Desire to work in an open organization; open source participation a plus
  • Familiarity with Knowledge-Centered Support is a plus; previous involvement in creating and delivery of learning, instruction, professional development, or other educational materials or curriculum
  • Experience with digital and mobile publishing, familiarity with trends in the technology, news, and media industries a plus
