The responsibilities of the Senior Manager, Project Management include managing the day-to-day activities in the PMO, providing guidance on PMO policies and processes, overseeing project management staff, ensuring the on time delivery of client implementations and corresponding revenue and collaborating with other department leaders to develop projects and programs.
Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct team of Project Management professionals, overseeing performance management of the team and providing support to their day-to-day activities
  • Provide guidance/mentorship on Project Management best practices and ensure adherence to PM methodology
  • Maintain team capacity plan and oversee the delegation of work to Project Managers
  • Responsible for all install revenue brought into Ensono through their team, ensuring any risk to that revenue is properly mitigated and communicated
  • Serve as primary back-up to team members for any unplanned interruption in project delivery. This requires a working knowledge of each project including key client contacts, upcoming deliverables, and Statement of Work language.
  • Liaise with Implementation Team leadership to ensure deliverables are met and roadblocks eliminated
  • Act as primary escalation point for client concerns
  • Responsible for gathering and analyzing financial data, including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation
  • Identify, measure, and act upon Key Performance Indicators for the team
  • Contribute to Monthly Operations Review, documenting project successes/opportunities and key lessons learned that require action from the senior leadership team
  • Create and maintain enterprise-wide scope repository, documenting deviations from scope with corresponding mitigation
  • Provide weekly status readout to leadership, highlighting milestone/revenue risks and mitigation strategies, lessons learned, and team resource capacity
  • Analyze team performance and ensure achievement of all objectives within required deadlines
  • Collaborate on updates to the Project Management standards and methodologies

QUALIFICATIONS
Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • PMP certification

Preferred

  • Master's degree
  • 4-6 years of experience in the field or related area
  • A minimum of two year's experience in a supervisory position may be advantageous
  • Expert-level knowledge of project and change management and associated methodologies, techniques, processes and approaches (e.g. PMP, PRINCE-2, ITIL)
  • Budget, cost and profitability management skills
  • Knowledge of resource management tools
  • Credibility as a senior-level project leader
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to juggle multiple goals and deadlines in the context of the big picture
  • Team Leadership & Development: Ability to mentor, coach and effectively transfer expertise to others
  • Facilitation, Negotiation & Problem Resolution Skills: Ability to build a strong network and relationships at executive levels with technology and solutions, customers and vendor groups
  • Resilience and resourcefulness
