Project Manager/Scrum Master
How you will help
You will play an integral role in supporting HealthVerity in delivering world-class healthcare data products to our customers. We will look to you to lead data delivery processes and projects in a way that contributes to our overall efficiency and success. You will apply Agile principles, processes, and tools to lead teams and projects to meet critical milestones and deliverables. A vital part of your role will be building a culture of accountability, transparency, and achievement within our PMO group.
What you will do
• Ensuring that goals, scope, and product domain are understood by everyone on the Scrum Team as well as possible
• Managing the tools and techniques for effective Product Backlog management and progress tracking
• Ensuring proper workflow with Kanban and other Agile processes
• Helping the Scrum Team understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items
• Collaborating with the Product Owner to arrange the Product Backlog to maximize value
• Facilitating Scrum events and ceremonies
• Improving the team’s output and velocity
• Manage the communication and workflow across all key functions and teams
• Managing issues and risks reporting status on a regular basis
• Review and ensure the overall quality of deliverables
• Establishing the foundation for a culture of accountability, responsiveness, flexibility, and results
About You
• Articulates an inspiring vision and keep all the details in order
• Believes in clear expectations and drive success through transparency
• Invigorated by obstacles and engage the team to overcome them
• Data driven, testing and measuring as much as you can
Desired Skills and Experience
• 3+ years practical experience in Project Management and applying Agile methodologies
• Experience as a Scrum Master practicing Agile processes including integrating these processes in hybrid environments
• Obtained a recognized Scrum Master certification
• Demonstrated proficiency with Project Management tools especially the Atlassian suite of products, especially JIRA and Confluence
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including effective technical writing skills and strong interpersonal communication
