After the new functionality is implemented, the airline's overall satisfaction with the delivery process will become a key component of their overall relationship with Amadeus.

In this role you will:

  • Represent department in customer meetings and/or in cases of major functional or operational issues arising, in coordination with Solutions and Development teams.
  • Effectively drive projects to a timely and successful conclusion.

  • Service Design / Process Improvement:
  • Obtain the agreement from Solutions/ Product Definition/ TPE on any new detailed implementation procedures to be applied.
  • Ensure the maintenance, publication and regular review of agreed product implementation procedures under control.
  • Propose and drive initiatives to minimise recurring delivery costs, reduce time-to-market, maximize revenues and improve the quality of service to end-customers.
  • Represent department during internal or external quality audits.
  • Define, enhance and deploy global documentation and publication standards.
  • Contribution to Team accountabilities:
  • Establish and operate the Sales-to-Delivery process for recurring standard implementations of new distribution products.
  • Manage the ongoing pipeline of all new air content orders from Airline Distribution customers.
  • Industrialisation: contribute to reduce the delivery unit cost and time-to-market of higher volume product lines. Recommend process, product and/or service improvements.
  • Monitor the progress of strategic worldwide air content deployment programs against target & budget.

About the ideal candidate:

  • Education: University degree in IT, Business or related field.
  • Understanding of and interest in the Airline industry, in particular global distribution.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Results oriented. Sense of customer service excellence.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, able to engender trust.

  • Ability to think and plan at a strategic level, identifying and avoiding potential issues and blockages.
  • Team player: not reluctant to coach or help others and work towards strengthening the global team. Empathy and sensitivity towards others.
