Amplify's Customer Care & Support team is looking for an associate project manager to lead internal operational and process improvement projects, ensuring Amplify's systems and processes can scale to meet its rapid expansion. This person will collaborate with leadership team members, multiple individual contributors, and subject matter authorities using technical resources to define project scope, document requirements, gather risk and organizational change, and produce project artifacts. This role works closely and collectively with departmental leadership to deliver high-quality project outcomes that are delivered on time and on budget to support strategic business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Key Partners, Subject Matter Experts, Technical Product Owners and Developers to define project scope, complete project deliverables and direct deadlines, adhering to Amplify project quality and performance standards from sales handover through to project completion on time and on budget
  • Build project artifacts such as project plans, user stories, requirements, flowcharts, test scripts, etc.
  • Clarify and communicate project delivery objectives and success criteria to the team while providing motivation, direction, and overall oversight to teams of up to 10 people including Key Partners, Subject Matter Experts, and Technical Project Managers
  • Work with cross-functional teams across Amplify to continuously improve operations processes, training, and documentation.
  • Track and communicate project status, issues, risks and decisions to senior management in an Agile, change-laden environment
  • Assist Senior Project Manager in implementing standard methodology process improvements to meet departmental objectives
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered timely, within scope and within budget
  • Coordinate with PMO to ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Resolve order and priority of issues


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Formal or informal experience managing projects with multiple contributors
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite. Experience with project management tools (Smartsheets, Trello)
  • Strong written, oral, and presentation skills with the ability to present information clearly


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce experience
  • Certification in a related process (CAPM, PMP, Lean Sigma Six, Agile CSM)
  • A background in business or business related activities
  • Experience working in the education technology field
