Advisor, Technical Program Management, Business Operations

As the Technical Program Management Advisor of Business Operations with Telecom Systems Business Unit, you will drive the development and deployment of new and exciting products and services. Working closely with Engineering, Product management, Services, Security & Resiliency, Infrastructure Engineering & Operations, Dev ops, Facility and other technical support groups in cross-functional teams, you will manage the entire lifecycle of highly complex, high riskprojects from design to delivery.

Together with Dell's security office, you will also help drive a secure end-to-end development pipeline enabling our partners to engage with Dell engineering and development teams in a seamless development environment to provide the most secure products and solutions to the telecom market.

You will:

• Lead programs by achieving cross-functional alignment on business objectives, program scope, and execution approach
• Drive cross functional program management of Telco's Global Lab projects, including activities completion tracking, labs buildout and labs transition activities.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to enhance Security and Vulnerability Management, Patch Management, Asset management and Lab management processes and activities
• Develop and execute project plans, effectively managing tasks, risks, and issues
• Positively guide and advise teams through program challenges
• Keep the team productive and organized by building consensus, knocking down barriers, and managing to an aggressive, yet realistic schedule
• Anticipate what might fall through the cracks and employ a proactive approach to ensure things run smoothly and productively
• Create and present project status reports that provide visibility into the health and activity of the programs
• Proactively highlight and resolve risks and issues and clearly communicate those risks to stakeholders
• Conduct program governance and effective change management
• Lead efforts to resolve program issues, escalations, and prioritization conflicts by establishing clear decision points and resolution paths
• Interact confidently and positively with individual technical contributors, product managers, and cross-functional leaders (technology and business)
• Collaborate with the product and engineering leadership team to effectively identify areas of opportunity and maximize organizational success

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of related experience in technical project, program and/or product management
• Communications - Strong written, power point and verbal communications skills.
• Strong project management skills (e.g. planning, organizing, prioritizing, directing, monitoring and reporting on project activities)
• Strong analytical, process management and reporting skills
• Organizational skills - Strong organizational skills with the ability to consolidate and integrate a wide range of inputs.
• Collaboration - Work collaboratively in complex cross functional environments.
• Technical Knowledge - Domain experience or capacity to quickly acquire knowledge.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, Information Systems or related disciplines.

Desirable Requirements

• Experience working with a Security organization (e.g. Security Operations, Incident Response, Cybersecurity, etc.)
