Project Process EngineerKBR’s Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) group is looking for a Process Engineer to support the Abadi LNG project, one of the largest projects in Asia. This project will provide front-end design (FEED) for onshore liquefied natural gas facilities & will have a peak production capacity targets of 9.5 million tons per annum of LNG and 150 million standard cubic feet per day of pipeline gas. The Abadi LNG project has been designated a project of national strategic importance by the Indonesian government.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all conventional aspects of process engineering
- Work as part of a team and show leadership capabilities managing areas or systems within projects
- Develop heat and material balances using process simulation software such as Aspen HYSYS and process flow diagrams (PFDs)
- Piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) development
- Generate fluid hydraulic calculations for line sizing and formulation of process data for in-line instruments and loads for rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, and turbines
- Produce process design simulations, Design Basis’, PFDs, Utility Load Lists, Equipment List, equipment sizing, and leading or conducting process studies
- Cross project coordination
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
- 2 + years of directly related experience, typically ranging from 3 – 7 years of experience
- Proficiency with typical process engineering calculations such as hydraulics, relief valves, design pressures and temperatures, vessel, and tower sizing, etc
- Oil & Gas industry project experience
- Field experience
- P&ID development
