The Role

Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager who is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of project execution from initiation through completion. This includes developing detailed project plans, managing resources, maintaining budgets and schedules, and ensuring that deliverables meet contractual and stakeholder requirements. The ideal candidate brings deep project management expertise, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to risk management and continuous improvement.

 Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead full lifecycle management of programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and customer expectations.
  • Define program scope, schedule, deliverables, and budget; monitor progress to meet targets.
  • Manage stakeholder communications, report status, and present key updates to senior leadership.
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and oversight to team members; may supervise lower-level professionals.
  • Implement and drive process improvements across program operations.
  • Evaluate program performance against objectives and recommend adjustments for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with task leads, functional managers, and subcontractors.
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards and internal quality requirements.

Basic Qualifications

  • TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required
  • Bachelor’s degree and 4–8 years of relevant experience or additional years of experience in lieu of degree; or Master’s degree and 2–6 years of relevant experience or additional years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Demonstrated success managing complex projects or programs with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP), PgMP, or other relevant certifications.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project management methodologies.
  • Background in government contracting, defense, or highly regulated environments.
  • Experience with P&L ownership or cost management on programs.
  • Advanced proficiency in risk analysis and mitigation strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Pay Range:Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
