Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Multifamily Project Manager with a strong understanding of flooring, cabinetry, and countertop materials, including their measurement and installation. This role will oversee contract management, project financials, and coordination with subcontractors to ensure successful project execution. The ideal candidate will have expertise in contract review, billing, forecasting, and project tracking.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Contract & Financial Management:

  • Review fully executed contracts to ensure values align with proposals.
  • Develop a Schedule of Values (SOV) for monthly billings.
  • Review bid takeoffs to verify dollar values match the contract.
  • Create and track change orders for requested contract modifications.
  • Maintain organized records of change order costs and revenue.

 

Project Coordination & Planning:

  • Analyze plans, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and constructability.
  • Prepare labor offers for subcontractors.
  • Set up and maintain an organized production log in Excel, inputting job details including material and labor bid costs.
  • Enter and manage all job aspects within the SAP system.

 

Billing & Forecasting:

  • Forecast monthly billing through project completion.
  • Prepare billing packets for general contractors.
  • Develop an SAP billing tracker for efficient processing.
  • Track and analyze missed costs related to materials, labor, and estimating.

 

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform all other job duties as assigned to support successful project execution.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience in commercial construction project management, preferably within the flooring, cabinetry, and countertop industry.
  • Strong knowledge of contract review, project financials, and change order management.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Excel, and project tracking software.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
