This position will be hybrid in Springfield, IL , Madison, WI or Addison, TX.
The Project Manager is a mid-level role that manages multiple small or medium size projects simultaneously and has product experience in one or more lines of business.
- Creates and monitors project budgets and project plans
- Ability to develop resourcing plan
- Identify, document and escalate issues, risks and dependencies
- Assist with stakeholder, steering committee and project sponsor reports and communications
- Communicate to project sponsors and management.
- Carry out procedures to ensure that all information technology solutions and services meet company standards and user requirements
- Assist with the creation of the business case
- Define and clarify project scope
- Develop and monitor the project plan
- Develop and monitor the project schedule
- Develop and monitor budget
- Monitor project progress
- Determine the organizational structure of the project team
- Identify roles and responsibilities
- Set team direction
- Coordinating activities across different organizational functions
- Motivating team members
- Assigning work and deliver results consistent with plans
- Report and communicate effectively to project team, sponsors and management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Ongoing education required in project/program management discipline required
- Effective written and verbal communications in a professional manner to management, business partners, associates, and external resources
- 1-4 years project management experience
- Strongly preferred: Certification or course work in project management (i.e. CAPM, PMP, CSM)
- Preferred: Familiarity with multiple frameworks (waterfall, agile etc…)
