CMC Markets are hiring a Project Manager, you will bring experience supporting or delivering projects, with the ability to manage risks, issues and dependencies, coordinate stakeholders and take ownership of work through to completion.
You will work alongside our Programme Manager and help deliver projects from start to finish. You will coordinate colleagues across business and technology teams, keep work moving, and help resolve challenges so projects stay focused on their objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project delivery across multiple business areas, working towards shared objectives.
- Track risks, issues and dependencies, and agree practical actions to keep projects on course.
- Support business analysis on projects or work packages where needed.
- Spot gaps or overlaps between projects and work with project managers, sponsors and executives to agree scope changes.
- Identify gaps in business processes and recommend ways to address them.
- Support resource planning and forecasting.
- Communicate clearly with colleagues across business and IT, including senior stakeholders.
- Provide a professional, fair and consistent service to customers, clients and colleagues, and handle information confidentially.
Skills/Experience
- Previous experience of working in a Project Management, PMO or a delivery-focused role.
- Experience contributing to project delivery and a good understanding of project management methodologies.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Confidence negotiating, resolving conflict and identifying priorities.
- Experience working in a regulated environment.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach, with the ability to take ownership and work with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
