As SOCOTEC grows, so do our teams. We’re looking for a dedicated Project Manager to join our Infrastructure division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.

We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Project Manager to join our Infrastructure team. In this role, you’ll need the confidence to work independently, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. A background in engineering environments, along with knowledge of structural testing and instrumentation, is essential to thrive in this position.

The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):

  • Take end-to-end ownership and accountability for allocated projects from operational handover through mobilisation, site delivery, reporting, invoicing readiness and formal close-out.
  • Review project scope, order/contract requirements, programme, technical requirements, assumptions, risks and commercial allowances before mobilisation and ensure responsibilities are clearly understood.
  • Develop and maintain the project delivery plan, programme and key actions, escalating risks or constraints to the National Operations Manager where required.
  • Support client interaction and business development activity, including client meetings, site visits, opportunity development and follow-up, helping to identify repeat work, cross-selling opportunities and new service requirements.
  • Prepare quotations and pricing for routine and allocated works, ensuring labour, equipment, materials, subcontractors, travel, technical inputs, programme assumptions, exclusions, risk and required margin are appropriately considered.
  • Work closely with the Resource Planner, who owns day-to-day and forward resource allocation, to secure the required competent resources and logistics in line with agreed project priorities.
  • Provide visible HSQE leadership and ensure each project is planned and delivered in accordance with Company procedures, legislation, client requirements and relevant technical and quality standards.

Qualifications

To be a successful Project Manager, you should be able to demonstrate:
