Position Overview

The Project Manager I is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing cross-functional initiatives that support the Claims Editing organization within Payment Integrity. This role partners with Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Clinical Content, Analytics, Client Services, Operations and business stakeholders to deliver strategic initiatives that improve product delivery, operational efficiency, and customer outcomes.
The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive project professional who excels at managing timelines, dependencies, risks, and communications across multiple teams. This role supports a broad portfolio of Claims Editing initiatives as business priorities evolve.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables for cross-functional Claims Editing initiatives.

·       Coordinate activities across Product, Engineering, Operations, Clinical Content, UAT, Analytics, Client Services, and other Payment Integrity teams.

·       Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, risk discussions, and stakeholder communications.

·       Track project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and drive mitigation plans.

·       Prepare executive-ready status reports, dashboards, and project documentation.

·       Support product launches, operational readiness, change management, and implementation activities.

·       Maintain project governance, decisions, action items, and documentation.

·       Drive continuous improvement of project management processes.

·       Support multiple concurrent initiatives while adapting to changing priorities.

PROJECT INNOVATION & AI-ENABLED DELIVERY

·       Utilize AI-enabled tools to improve project planning, documentation, reporting, and meeting summaries.

·       Leverage project metrics and analytics to identify risks and improvement opportunities.

·       Identify opportunities to automate project workflows and increase operational efficiency.

·       Promote continuous improvement and adoption of modern project management practices.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

·       Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Healthcare Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

·       2–5 years of experience in Project Management, PMO, Program Coordination, or a related discipline.

·       Experience managing cross-functional projects in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid environments.

·       Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·       Experience with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar tools.

·       Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Office applications.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

·       Experience in healthcare technology, claims processing, claims editing, payment integrity, or revenue cycle management.

·       Experience supporting geographically distributed teams.

·       PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, or Agile certification preferred.

·       Experience creating executive dashboards and project reporting.
