We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our Health & Education team at Sunshine Coast University Hospital. This role offers the opportunity to lead the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects that support critical healthcare infrastructure and services.

This is a long-term position within a stable contract environment, providing strong job security and the opportunity to build a rewarding career while delivering meaningful outcomes that directly support one of Queensland's largest healthcare facilities.

Reporting to the Program Manager, you will play a key role in the planning, coordination, and delivery of a high volume of projects each year, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

What You'll Do

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring scope, budget, schedule, safety, and quality objectives are achieved. 
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of capital, lifecycle, and infrastructure projects within a live hospital environment. 
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders. 
  • Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, and opportunities. 
  • Monitor project performance and provide clear reporting on financial, operational, and delivery outcomes. 
  • Ensure compliance with contractual, legislative, and safety requirements. 
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best-practice project delivery across the Health & Education portfolio. 

What You'll Bring

  • A trade qualification and strong technical understanding of building services, construction, facilities management, or related disciplines. 
  • Demonstrated experience successfully delivering a high volume of projects annually within complex operational environments. 
  • Experience managing projects within healthcare, education, facilities management, construction, infrastructure, or similarly regulated industries. 
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels. 
  • Sound commercial acumen, including experience managing project budgets, forecasts, variations, and reporting requirements. 
  • Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple projects and competing deadlines. 
  • A strong commitment to safety, quality, and delivering exceptional customer outcomes.
