Job Description:
We are currently looking for a Project Manager in Telecommunication Field to join Hitachi RAIL GTS in Portugal. A Project Manager is responsible for:
- Project Initialization
- Project Launch Review (Baseline Review)
- Project Execution, monitoring and controlling
- Delivery and invoicing of project deliverables
- Capture of Project Lesson Learnt
- Project Closure
Technical & Professional Skills
- Electrotechnical Engineer Degree or equivalente
- Experience in similar roles at least 5 years
- Member of the Portuguese Engineering Association (“Ordem dos Engenheiros” or “Ordem dos Engenheiros Técnicos)
- Understanding of project lifecycle, from requirements to preliminary and detailed design phases, development, integration, verification and validation, down to test and commissioning and acceptance.
- English and French (recommended) communication skills
- IPMA level C certification or above (recommended).

Skills Required
- Electrotechnical Engineer degree or equivalent
- At least 5 years experience in similar roles
- Member of the Portuguese Engineering Association (Ordem dos Engenheiros or Ordem dos Engenheiros Técnicos)
- Understanding of full project lifecycle from requirements through design, integration, verification, validation, testing, commissioning and acceptance
