What you will be doing:
- Define scope, goals, and deliverables with stakeholders, and develop comprehensive project plans coordinating technical personnel.
- Manage project resources, budget, and schedules effectively.
- Identify, track, and manage risks and issues, developing necessary mitigation strategies.
- Regularly communicate project status, milestones, and challenges to stakeholders.
- Ensure quality assurance and adherence to internal and external standards and regulations.
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies and coach the Development Team in self-organization and cross-functionality.
- Remove team impediments, shield the team from external interruptions, and support the Product Owner with backlog management.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and track/report on key Agile metrics (e.g., burn-down, velocity).
What our client is looking for:
- A relevant tertiary qualification would be beneficial.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management and/or as a Scrum Master.
- Proven experience managing complex software development or IT projects.
- Strong understanding of both Waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with project management software.
- Familiarity with scaling frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, or DaD.
