At Aviva, this role focuses on the operational delivery of releases, ensuring that plans are clear, teams are aligned, and execution progresses without disruption.
This role sits within the Release team for Actuarial Development, supporting end‑to‑end coordination of delivery activities across multiple teams, while working within defined release governance and timelines.
What will you be doing?
Controlling release scope and translating priorities, dependencies, resources, and milestones into actionable delivery plan
Coordinating business, design, development, and testing teams to ensure smooth execution, removing blockers and resolving issue
Monitoring day‑to‑day delivery progress, identifying risks early, and ensuring timely escalation and resolution of critical issue
Supporting alignment to agreed delivery approach, timelines, and scope, facilitating agile ways of working and cross‑team collaboration
Identifying complex developments spanning multiple teams and ensuring clear definition, ownership, and alignment across all contributing areas
Acting as a central coordination point for cross‑team delivery, tracking dependencies, inputs, and responsibilities end‑to‑end.
What we’re looking for?
Proven experience in delivery coordination, project support, or operational delivery roles within technology or change environment
Strong ability to translate scope and timelines into clear, structured delivery plans
Experience coordinating cross‑functional teams (business, development, testing) and managing dependencies between them
Ability to track progress at a detailed level and proactively identify, escalate, and resolve risks and blockers
Good understanding of agile delivery practices and experience supporting team ceremonies and delivery cadence
Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills, ensuring clarity, alignment, and accountability across teams
Experience working in complex organisations with multiple stakeholders
Practical experience using tools such as Jira and Confluence would be an asset.
