Project Manager (Onsite)

GVPR has good experience in executing lift irrigation schemes and drinking water diversion schemes also, which is a critical part of rural irrigation schemes and making drinking water available to all.

Job description

1. Execution Oversight:

• Manage the execution of large Water Supply Projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Monitor day-to-day progress of civil works, overseeing site execution activities.

2. Client Coordination:

• Coordinate with clients for the approval of drawings, designs, and billing related to various civil structures.
• Liaise with local authorities to obtain necessary approvals, permits, and clearances for project activities.

3. Quality Assurance:

• Ensure adherence to quality standards by responding to client inspection calls, and verifying site works for quality purposes.
• Conduct regular quality checks and inspections to maintain high-quality project outcomes.

4. Resource Management:

• Allocate tasks to supervisors and engineers for various civil structures, setting clear targets and objectives.
• Handle material resources efficiently, raising material indents based on site requirements.
• Supervise manpower resources, ensuring optimal utilization and productivity.

5. Estimation and Analysis:

• Conduct estimation and rate analysis for various civil structure items, ensuring accurate project costing.
• Review and verify monthly MRM (Monthly Review Meeting) Reports, providing insights for project improvements.

6. Sub-contractor Management:

• Verify and approve sub-contractor bills, ensuring transparency and accuracy in financial transactions.
• Encourage and guide subordinates, providing support and mentorship regarding site work challenges.

7. Design Collaboration:

• Collaborate with designers to plan and design various civil structures, ensuring alignment with project requirements and specifications.

Required Candidate profile

• A Civil Engineer with minimum 15 Years of experience in Water supply projects is must
• Willing to work anywhere in India.
