Job Description
We ask that you have and demonstrate a diverse set of commercial and technical project management skills. The Project Manager will need to qualities of project engineering, planning, tracking, and organizing to take ownership. Will be the single contact for the customer in managing safety solutions and support engagements throughout the lifecycle of the engagement.
You must also document and inform Rockwell Automation sales, delivery, and safety leadership personnel of solutions to commonly experienced problems, workarounds, practices that create problems to improve overall customer satisfaction and acceptance of Rockwell Automation safety solutions and services.
Your Responsibilities:- You will oversee all project activities - commercially and technically
- You will understand at a high level the different Safety Services product offerings and their general benefits to a customer
- You will create resolution for all open issues and act as primary contact to customer and safety consultants for service to customer
- You will ensure customer ROI expectations are met
- You will frequently work with others to build productive internal/external working relationship.
- You will lead by example, striving for continuous improvement, demonstrating, fulfilling commitments to customers and Rockwell Automation, valuing, and encouraging a diverse workforce.
- You will complete and submit required reports
- You will provide responsiveness to customers, sales, and management with the appropriate level of urgency
- You will organize associated with multiple projects building in parallel
- You will quickly guide resolution to customer escalations, create commercial responses in reply, and incorporate corrective actions into the project moving forward
- College degree on Engineering and two years of project management experience.
- Expertise at simultaneously managing multiple complex projects
- Must have flexibility with working styles
- Experience with direct customer contact
- Can work in a environment where constructive feedback from others is encouraged
- Can bring administrative and operational deliverables to completion
- Must have excellent conflict resolution and people interface skills
- Data gathering skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
