What you will do:
Investment Portfolio and Resource Management:
- Track the portfolio of projects and investments, including status reports, RAG status, budget updates, milestone reporting. Ensure information is accurate and up to date and available for investment governance and senior leadership.
- Provide overall Capex and Opex budget tracking, including actuals and forecasts.
- Ensure the investment roadmap is tracked accurately and in a timely manner.
- Manage IT capacity (resource demand and supply), including the data updates, consolidation and report/dashboard updates.
- Provide oversight and support for the PPM tool and PM methodology.
- Oversee onboarding of PMs and compliance with processes as needed.
Project Management:
- Ensure that all projects are delivered to timelines, budget and scope. Strong delivery focus is key.
- Ensure that the appropriate structures, governance, roles and communication are in place and managed.
- Develop and update project plans, budgets and resource plans for project execution and for business case submissions. Ensure they have been reviewed by other PMs or PMO leadership as part of due diligence
What will be required:
Minimum 5+yrs of exp into Investment Portfolio Management & Project Management
- Responsible for managing and pro-actively reporting on plan, budget, scope, resources, project decisions, risks, issues and dependencies. Maintain and present project metrics to PMO leadership.
- In conjunction with other PMs or PMO leadership, manage the relationship and overall engagement with implementation partners and vendors, as well as all stakeholders.
- In conjunction with other PMs or PMO leadership, provide input on overall project business value, using experience and knowledge to enable the team to achieve stated objectives, benefits and ROI. Advise on change management and adoption and assist in tracking post implementation benefits as appropriate.
- Manage full handover to operational support and maintenance teams.
- Ensure projects are fully closed out, with all deliverables completed and approved.
- Be actively involved in process improvement activities within the Project Management group, as requested.
- Manage small and medium projects, or work streams of other projects or programmes, across all service lines.
