ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Engineer 2 for Productivity Services is responsible for the technical design and operations of productivity solutions used globally. These solutions will enable the workforce to create, share, and collaborate on content from anywhere at any time built upon the Exchange server and Microsoft 365. This technical role is expected to apply a software engineering mindset to system administration topics elevating the availability, reliability, and security of solutions while reducing operational costs.
Its Night shift role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Good understanding of Exchange On-Premises Technologies (Exchange Server)
- Experience in Microsoft Exchange Server 2016/2019 Enterprise and Standard Editions
- Experience with high availability scenarios for Exchange, such as Database Availability Groups and Windows Failover Clustering.
- Familiar with Windows Server and Microsoft Exchange log interpretation
- Good understanding of Exchange Online Technologies (EXO, EOP)
- Good understanding of retention policy and Exchange Online Archive
- Basic understanding of Office 365 identities
- Good understanding of Autodiscover service and Exchange ActiveSync (EAS)
- Basic understanding of SMTP, POP/IMAP and Exchange Web Services (EWS)
- Familiar with O365 Hybrid Deployment (requirements, setup, migration)
- Background in working with messaging related technologies.
- Understanding of Windows Server technologies (Active Directory and DNS).
- Troubleshooting skills with Exchange Transport and Client Access
- Troubleshooting experience with Devices syncing.
- Microsoft Office applications & Outlook 2010/2013/2016
- Outlook for iOS, Outlook for Android, and Outlook for Mac
- Microsoft 365 Apps for Business (Office 365 ProPlus )/Office
- Experienced in root cause analysis and undertaking of diagnostic examinations to resolve client issues
- Knowledge of Office 365 admin settings for Exchange, ADFS, Directory Synchronization.
- Provide End-user Computing support to clients which includes troubleshooting Outlook & mail delivery related issues.
- Experience in other messaging solutions such as anti-virus/anti-spam appliances and or applications, archiving solutions, mobility solutions or real-time collaboration solutions.
- EOP and non-Microsoft Email Hygiene/Gateway Products (Proofpoint, Exchange Online Protection, IronPort etc.)
- Knowledge and Experience with managing & troubleshooting MS Teams
- Knowledge in Voice services, Audio, Video, Teams rooms conference
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• 3+ years' operating Microsoft Exchange server and Microsoft 365 services at enterprise scale • Bachelor's degree in computer-related field preferred or equivalent years of experience
