Key Responsibilities
A. Project Management
- Own and manage project execution from order release through completion and closure.
- Lead project planning, scheduling, execution follow-up, and reporting in accordance with
- the Global Project Delivery Model and established business processes.
- Communicate project status, priorities, risks, and targets to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure project scope, costs, schedules, and delivery commitments are accurate and up to
- date.
- Manage project schedules and participate in daily workshop meetings and activities.
- Monitor project progress and ensure milestones are achieved as planned.
- Ensure project schedules and delivery dates accurately reflect the latest project status.
- Coordinate project activities among Customer Service, Workshop Operations, Procurement,
- Logistics, and other stakeholders.
- Identify risks, delays, and deviations and coordinate corrective actions.
- Review completed projects, summarize performance, and communicate key deviations.
B. Customer Management
- Act as the primary customer contact during project execution.
- Ensure customers are informed promptly about project status, delivery progress, and
- deviations.
- Support on-time delivery performance for customers.
- Facilitate customer visits and project review meetings.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Support investigation and resolution of customer claims.
C. Project Financial Management
- Monitor project costs and profitability.
- Prepare timely cost estimates for additional work following inspections to avoid project
- delays.
- Ensure projects are closed after all costs have been accumulated and reported.
- Review and explain project cost deviations.
- Review actual versus as-sold costs and identify improvement opportunities.
D. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain project documentation and records in M-Files and other applicable business
- systems.
- Update Compass Roll Cards and other project tracking tools as required.
- Ensure project information, schedules, and status updates are accurate and up to date.
- Ensure order backlog information, delivery dates, and commitments are maintained
- accurately.
- Manage project documentation, including incoming inspection reports, service reports, and
- shipping documents
- Prepare project reports and performance summaries.
- Conduct project review and lessons learned activities upon completion.
E. Continuous Improvement
- Use customer feedback and project lessons learned to drive continuous performance
- improvement.
- Lead improvements in project execution and delivery performance.
- Drive lead-time reduction and profitability improvement initiatives.
- Support improvements to order delivery processes and business practices.
F. Decision-Making Authority
- Escalate project risks and deviations.
- Define project meeting frequency and required participants.
- Recommend additional work proposals and related cost estimates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering,
- Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or other relevant engineering discipline related to machinery and industrial technology.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, workshop operations, engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, or industrial service business.
- Demonstrated experience managing customer projects in an industrial environment.
- Experience preparing project schedules, execution plans, and customer project documentation.
- Experience supporting Sales and interacting directly with customers.
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or another relevant engineering discipline related to machinery and industrial technology.
