The Projects Lead will be responsible for leading the full lifecycle of offshore field development projects, from concept and FEED through engineering, construction, and commissioning. The role combines project management with strong technical oversight across subsea, topside, marine, and structural engineering, ensuring safe, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery. The ideal candidate has solid experience in offshore oil & gas projects, contractor and stakeholder management, and is fluent in both English and Portuguese.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and optimize production system performance to maximize efficiency and hydrocarbon recovery.
  • Perform production surveillance and analyze production data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct flow assurance studies to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of hydrocarbons.
  • Evaluate and mitigate flow assurance risks, including hydrate formation, wax deposition, scaling, slugging, and corrosion.
  • Provide technical support for production operations, well interventions, start-ups, and shutdowns.
  • Develop production forecasts, system models, and performance analyses to support operational decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Reservoir, Wells, Operations, Maintenance, and HSE teams to optimize field performance.
  • Support the planning and execution of production optimization initiatives and offshore campaigns.
  • Review engineering studies and provide technical recommendations for production system improvements.
  • Assist in troubleshooting production and flow assurance issues during offshore operations.
  • Monitor contractor and vendor performance, ensuring compliance with technical and HSE requirements.
  • Participate in risk assessments, Management of Change (MOC) processes, and technical reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Capture and implement lessons learned from operational activities to improve future performance.
  • Promote a strong safety culture while supporting reliable, cost-effective, and efficient offshore operations.

Requirements

Education 

  • BSc or MSc in Industry Related Engineering. 

Experience  

  • Proven end-to-end project management or lead engineering experience across FEED, detailed design, and execution phases. 
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with offshore installation and commissioning campaigns 
  • Experience managing contractors, vendors, and multi-discipline engineering teams. 
  • Familiarity with Brazilian regulatory requirements strongly preferred. 
  • Experience working with class societies, MWS, and offshore regulatory frameworks.

  • Experience with structural analysis tools (SACS, FEMAP, ANSYS or similar) is a strong advantage. 
  • Solid understanding of offshore inspection methodologies and repair techniques.
