You will be working as Project Controller and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Energy Industries Division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to the Finance manager. Assigned to multiple smaller projects.
In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.

This role is contributing to the Automation business in Energy Industries Division at Bangalore, India.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Supporting the tender manager on financial aspects – cashflow and provide input to negotiations on commercial, contractual issues and local risk review process
Providing input to the project execution plan on financial aspects, project cashflow planning, financial accounting and reporting (including project site accounting)
Managing project currency exposures & heading shing project governance process and participating in opportunity/ risk identification, monitor that all required mitigation actions are timely implemented
Supporting the project manager in coordinating and preparing monthly project reviews.
Verifying the substance for cost to complete and project schedule
Providing support on claim management, back-charges and insurance cases and monitors the proper follow up together with the contract manager/ project manager up-stream (towards customer), side-stream (towards consortia partner) as well as down-stream (towards suppliers)
Promoting commercial awareness in the project team and provides commercial input to the project execution plan (such as T&C’s in supply management, claims, back to back conditions)
Qualifications for the role:
CA or CMA qualification preferred.
8–12 years of relevant experience in project controlling and/or finance controlling.
Experience working in a multinational corporation (MNC) preferred.
Strong knowledge of accounting and financial reporting, preferably under US GAAP and Indian GAAP (IGAAP).
Experience as a Project Controller or Finance Controller will be an added advantage.
Hands-on experience with SAP, particularly MM, SD, PS, and FICO modules.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
