review, advise/make suggestions for optimization, and modify existing reporting and/or planning tools and working
methodologies, if necessary, in line with contractual requirements, in order to optimize Project’s Master Schedule and contribute to an optimal realization of project objectives.Your responsibilities
- Analysis - Analyze project schedules and planning, reporting and budget requirements covering all stages of the project and search for improvement opportunities.
- Follow-up and Interfacing - Monitor and administer the achieved progress and project status on a daily basis by comparing project execution with the Project’s Master Schedule, ensure follow-up and administration of the planning including all interfaces and disciplines involved in the project, all in close cooperation and conjunction with the PMT.
- Risks and Opportunities - Anticipate on detrimental project related problems, identify and report any risk and imminent threats to the Project Director and Project Management Team and discuss proposals to mitigate and minimize risks and maximize opportunities.
- Planning Review - Review and propose updates to improvement of the Project Master Schedule and coordinate any changes with the involved parties as necessary in response to unforeseen events or unexpected developments.
- Reporting – Inform all relevant stakeholders on the achieved progress in relation to the Master Planning and on the consequences of the current status using relevant dashboards and acquire necessary records for the elaboration of the reporting in compliance with the contractual requirements.
- Optimization – Support and/or manage the implementation and follow-up of the DRIVE programme on the project, keep the DRIVE action list updated and liase with all DRIVE action holders accordingly.
- QHSE-S – Work and act in accordance with the standards of the DEME Group as well as applicable QHSE-S instructions and measures, support and commit to all PMT’s tasks in relation to QHSE-S, take appropriate measures in case of accidents and hazardous situations and draw proposals for improvement.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil or marine engineering from a premier institute.
- 5-8 years of experience.
- Experience in dredging is preferred.
- Understanding of planning and links between activities.
- Contribute to timely progress of all integrated disciplines towards an optimal result.
- Insight in the impact of potential or occurring planning problems and opportunities.
- Optimal balance between necessary adjustments to circumstances and optimizing project’s deadlines and budgets.
- Timely availability of necessary documents for progress reporting.
- Outstanding DRIVE actions are timely actioned and contribute to project improvements.
- Execution of project controls without endangering quality, health, environment, safety and security.
