You will be part of product engineering group, dynamic team of engineers/designers working dedicatedly for Pumps, cyclones/Manifold systems and Valve order handling using parametric design concepts. By joining this team, you will have the chance to work with global counterparts giving better exposure to international design and quality standards.

As our projects are varied in nature - we look for Engineers with technical savvy and good hands on experience that can design a product in 3D, help trial assemble it when it's built, and trouble shoot for improvement if needed. We like people who can think on their feet and have fun while doing it.

Your responsibilities

  • Work with Project Managers worldwide to understand design requirements, and to ensure the design meets those requirements (drawing content, drawing time, safety)

  • Researches and analyzes data such as customer design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.

  • Creates/ensures designs are maximized for efficiency and develops tools/guidelines to ensure efficient processes are used in designs.  i.e ensure design manual is followed and evolves.

  • Designs products or systems such as instruments and controls which can be utilized to enhance the products.

  • Plans and directs drafting personnel in generating detailed fabrication drawings for individual products and systems, and development of methods and procedures for inspection, installation, and assembly.

  • Manage multiple drawing projects and ensure Project Managers are provided updates of progress minimum weekly.

  • Evaluates field installations and recommends design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.

  • Handle any design questions that come up during the manufacture of the system and ensure drawings get updated if required.

  • Provide instructions for drafting personnel to ensure all project and parts issues are assigned and completed in a timely fashion.

  • The individual will be required to travel both domestically and internationally at a frequency demanded by the project.

  • The individual is required to work in a team environment and will be expected to get along with others.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  • 0 to 10 years of Experience.

  • Sound knowledge of Design and preparation of manufacturing drawings and General arrangement drawings.

  • Experience in the CAD Tools & Design tools. - CATIA, AutoCAD, PLM (Enovia, SmarTeam) and ANSYS. Good Expertise in Catia is preferred but not required.

  • Should be conversant with MS office, Excel/Word, etc

  • Sound knowledge in procedures for inspection, installation, and assembly of equipment.

  • Sound knowledge in Manufacturing process of casting and fabrication equipment.

  • Preferred knowledge of international design standards.

  • Teamwork, Proactive approach, and excellent communication required for this position.

  • Able to read/write/Speak English in a proficient way to collaborate and communicate with US engineering team.

  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.

  • Good planning and organizing skills.

  • Conceptual thinking and problem solving.

  • Extend efforts as needed to complete tasks on time within allotted hours and with high quality Collaboration with team members.

  • Analyze the revisions of drawings and provide ideas for prevention of mistakes.

  • Adhere to departmental procedures and standards. Update knowledge continuously on product drawing standards through learning and sharing.
