Dreamscape Learn (DSL) is a collaborative venture between Dreamscape Immersive and Arizona State University, merging the most advanced experiential pedagogy with the entertainment industry’s best cinematic storytelling. Our mission is to deliver unique virtual reality and 2D labs and full course experiences that are provably efficacious, readily scalable, and emotionally engaging.

We’re seeking a highly organized, collaborative, and proactive Project Coordinator to join the Dreamscape Learn VR production team. Every day you will make a difference in the lives of others by supporting the development of innovative educational virtual reality experiences and helping student Working Learners contribute within a professional creative and technical production team.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative support and coordination of student Working Learners embedded across creative disciplines such as 3D art, animation, programming, sound, narrative, QA, and UI/UX. You will maintain project documentation, schedules, communication, task tracking, student onboarding and training activities, and follow up to ensure student work remains organized, visible, and moving forward.

Essential Duties:

  • Support the development of Dreamscape Learn virtual reality experiences through project coordination, administrative support, and operational activities.

  • Support a structured, organized, collaborative, and productive experience for student working learners embedded within the production team.

  • Coordinate with production management and department leads to identify appropriate student tasks and ensure work deliverables are clearly documented, assigned, and reviewed.

  • Organize and maintain project documentation, schedules, deliverables, communications, and task tracking to ensure work remains organized, visible, and on track.

  • Coordinate project meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, note-taking, capturing action items, and following up with responsible team members.

  • Serve as a central point of communication and help maintain visibility into project progress, feedback cycles, priorities, and status updates.

  • Maintain and support project management systems (e.g., Coda) used for tracking student work, schedules, hours, onboarding progress, tasks, and project visibility.

  • Support hiring and onboarding logistics for student working learners, including communication, onboarding coordination, and required setup activities.

  • Monitor student schedules, submitted hours, workload, and progress through updates, meetings, task reviews, and status reporting to maintain visibility, promote accountability, and proactively identify blockers, risks, or incomplete work.

  • Assume or coordinate other duties or projects as assigned or directed.

NOTE: This is an in-person, hybrid position. You must be able to reliably commute to Tempe, Arizona.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.

  • Evidence of project management training or certification, such as PMP, CAPM, or any equivalent professional development.

  • Experience working in creative production, digital media, game development, virtual reality, or emerging technology environments.

  • Experience working with Agile or Scrum-based workflows, including sprint planning, backlog management, stand-ups, retrospectives, and iterative development.

  • Demonstrated strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and timelines with a high level of attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities, evolving workflows, and shifting project needs in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Experience maintaining project documentation, meeting notes, dashboards, trackers, schedules, and shared team resources.

  • Experience with project management or collaboration tools such as Coda, Airtable, Jira, Trello, or similar platforms

Salary:

$55,000 - $65,000 per year; DOE

Working Environment:

You are a part of EdPlus; however, your desk will be in the workspace at Creativity Commons on the Tempe campus with the Dreamscape Learn team.

ASU EdPlus supports flexible work options, ranging from alternate to hybrid work schedules, subject to approvals per ASU policy. (This is an in-person, hybrid position.)
