Description

As a Project Coordinator, you will be the trusted link between customers and the teams that bring their projects to life. You’ll keep custom projects organized, communicate clearly, follow through promptly, and help resolve customer concerns with professionalism and care.

Cutting Edge Countertops is hiring a Project Coordinator at our Perrysburg, OH facility for someone who can balance details, deadlines, and customer communication in a fast-moving, project-based environment.

What You Will Do:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing timely, clear, and professional communication from quote through order completion.
  • Keep customers informed on project status, next steps, timing, and changes while following through on commitments.
  • Help customers understand their countertop options, including product choices, edge profiles, upgrades, and available add-ons such as chip minimizers, so they can make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Act as the bridge between customers, sales, production, scheduling, and installation teams to ensure project details are accurate and actionable.
  • Manage multiple custom projects while organizing schedules, specifications, approvals, documentation, and customer communications.
  • Enter, verify, and maintain complete project information in internal systems to support accurate and timely execution.
  • Review customer-supplied specifications, identify missing or conflicting details, ask clarifying questions, and coordinate corrections before work moves forward.
  • Listen to customer concerns, stay composed during difficult conversations, and help resolve issues with professionalism and practical solutions.
  • Anticipate risks, communicate changes promptly, and partner with internal teams to keep projects moving toward the promised outcome.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in customer-facing project coordination, order management, scheduling, sales support, inside sales, or similar role.
  • Ability to guide customers through available options, upgrades, and add-ons in a helpful, informative way that supports confident purchasing decisions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain project details, expectations, and changes clearly.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through when managing multiple active projects and deadlines.
  • Comfort reviewing customer specifications, identifying missing information, and documenting details accurately.
  • Ability to learn and use order-management, ERP, scheduling, or project-tracking systems.
  • Experience in custom manufacturing, construction, remodeling, cabinetry, countertops, or another project-based environment is helpful but not required.
