Tasks and Responsibilities
- Coordinate project cost control activities, including:
- Compliance with client policies and procedures
- Developing and maintaining controls systems that support contracting strategies
- Contract administration
- Develop Project Controls Plans
- Oversee development of Project Class 3 Cost Estimates
- Independently draft high-quality Appropriation Request packages, project procedures, and Decision Support (White Paper) documents
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management
- Experience in Project Services, Project Controls, and Planning
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Multiple international project assignments
- Willing to travel to project sites (overseas or domestic) and work in a team environment
- Knowledge of project management best practices frameworks and key work processes
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Strong organizational, business, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong influencing, consulting, mentoring, analytical, and computing skills
- Competent or expert proficiency in several project management skills, such as:
- EMCAPS (ExxonMobil Capital Project Management System)
- Project controls
- Execution planning
- Contracting strategy
- Contract administration
- Cost estimating
- Planning and scheduling
Skills Required
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management
