The project analyst is responsible for managing and developing new projects. They provide support for various projects and other team members. Project analysts ensure customer satisfaction, monitor expenses, prepare reports, schedule project meetings, facilitate notes and assist with onboarding/offboarding new hires

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job.  Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below.  Specific activities may change from time to time. 

  • Contribute to project planning, budgeting and overall strategy
  • Establishing key performance indicators
  • Monitoring and evaluating overall projects including data analysis and insights
  • Document all project stages and ensure team members understand objectives
  • Providing operational support such as liaising with stakeholders, tracking timelines, etc.
  • Track, forecast and report on project progress, including metrics and challenges
  • Facilitate the onboarding/offboarding of onshore and offshore employees
  • Assist with calendaring, note taking, scheduling meetings and more
  • Conduct evaluations and share out results and related action plans
  • Identifying problems and shortfalls and offering solutions
  • Optimize and improve processes and the overall approach, where necessary

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Associates degree (required)
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role (required)
  • Or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, insurance & 2 years related experience (preferred)

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS

  • Professional, positive, proactive approach to work tasks with discretion & confidentiality required
  • Highly organized with strong time management and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, with a service mindset
  • Adaptability, dependability and reliability
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills & abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent with managing finances and optimizing the budget given

General Description of Available Benefits for Eligible Employees of TIH Insurance: All regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, though eligibility for specific benefits may be determined by the division of TIH Insurance offering the position. TIH offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, accidental death and dismemberment, tax-preferred savings accounts, and a 401k plan to teammates. Teammates also receive no less than 10 days of vacation (prorated based on date of hire and by full-time or part-time status) during their first year of employment, along with 10 sick days (also prorated), and paid holidays. Depending on the position and division, this job may also be eligible for restricted stock units, and/or a deferred compensation plan.
