About the role:

Material Bank’s success relies on the combined satisfaction of both our Members and Brand Partners. With a focus on continual improvement, Material Bank is launching a brand focused pilot program to learn the “ins and outs” of the Brand Representative’s experience on Material Bank. The insights gathered during this pilot program will influence the development of new tools, features, and potential services that Brand Partners can take advantage of.

Material Bank is seeking a seasoned sales leader who will execute and facilitate the pilot program. In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination, communication, and relationship management between Material Bank members and the brands they sample from. The ideal candidate is a highly experienced industry representative who can effectively conduct lead follow-up and nurturing, and specification management for Brand Partners across a variety of material categories.

This role with require a leader who is customer-centric and champions Material Bank’s commitment to providing its Brand Partners and Members with exceptional service. We are seeking a candidate who is inquisitive, adaptable, and has a willingness to dive deep into the details. This role presents a unique opportunity to influence the future of Material Bank, while also fostering lasting partnerships within the constantly evolving landscape of global commerce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and nurture relationships with Brand Partners, understanding their unique needs and products, allowing Material Bank to provide tailored solutions.
  • Implement proactive lead follow-up processes to maximize conversion rates and ensure timely and effective follow-up.
  • Support and nurture member relationships throughout each step of the discovery and buying process, assisting with questions and serving as a subject matter expert.
  • Work with Brand Partners to establish, track, and achieve desired sales pipeline targets.
  • Maintain a detailed sales pipeline to ensure visibility to Brand Partners on potential sales and to track ROI.
  • Leverage insights for the development of new tools/resources offered to Brand Partners for optimizing their strategies and enhancing their market presence.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and customer service, to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of successful sales leadership in A&D industry.
  • Proven success in sales.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to represent the brand effectively.
  • Strong sales skills, with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience working with brands and understanding their market entry challenges.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
